Understanding our Pricing

Our cattle prices are influenced by several important factors, which aren't always clear right from birth. The variation in pricing reflects the genetics, color, body structure, and many other unique characteristics of each animal. Below, you'll find our starting prices for calves. Though we primarily focus on calves, from time to time, we do offer cows for sale. For the most current pricing and availability, please visit our Sale Barn page.

2024 Pricing Guide:

Heifers: Starting at $8,000

Steers: Starting at $2,500

Bulls: Starting at $8,000

Regarding our cows, it's rare for us to sell our breeding stock. However, when we do decide to sell, each cow will be priced and listed individually.

Thank you for supporting our farm! We’re passionate about what we do here, balancing our full-time jobs with the care of our animals. Our cattle are raised with great care, health, and love. We offer calves and sometimes adult cows for sale annually. All animals are vaccinated, dewormed, and thrive on a quality feed program in pasture settings.

We avoid bottle-raising calves unless necessary for health reasons. Those calves are kept until near weaning to ensure they're strong and healthy for their new homes.

Calves stay with their mothers until weaned at 5-6 months, then undergo fenced weaning and socialization, including brush and halter introduction. Full halter training is available for an extra fee.

Deposits and Payments:

A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve any cow/calf. The animal is not considered sold until the deposit is received. Full payment is due before the animal leaves our farm. For transport pickups, payment must clear before the animal can leave.

Health and Transport:

Animals leave with a vet-issued health certificate. We test for the chondro gene and can conduct additional tests at the buyer’s expense. We don’t guarantee health after pickup but welcome vet exams at the buyer’s expense with proper notice.

Arranging transport is the buyer’s responsibility. For weaned animals, pickup is within 2 weeks of the sale unless otherwise agreed. For animals not yet weaned, we'll coordinate pickup after weaning. A boarding fee of $10 per day applies if pickup is delayed, payable before pickup. After 10 days, the deposit is forfeited, and the sale is voided.
